Our Commitment to Your Health and Safety

Fantasy Island Amusement Park has been a favorite destination for families on the Jersey Shore since 1984. The safety of our guests and team members has always been, and will continue to be, our first priority. In response to COVID-19 we have increased our focus on cleanliness and sanitation and have put in place extra precautions in all areas to ease any of your concerns with visiting.
We are closely monitoring all recommendations from health officials including the Center for Disease Control and World Health Organization as well local and state officials to strengthen our procedures. We promise to do all we can to protect our community and ask you to review our health and safety measures and to follow our listed guidelines to help in our goal. When you are ready to visit, we will be here, prepared and excited, to make new memories with you.
General Health & Safety

Capacity
Capacities for both outdoor amusements and the arcade will be in place all summer long.
Capacity limits will be based on state and local guidelines and may change as the season progresses.

Hand Washing & Hand Sanitizer
40 new hand sanitizer stations and additional pump bottles have been added through out the park, as well as additional hand wash stations.

BARRIERS
Plexiglass barriers have been added to all cash register stations as well as merchandise and food counters where direct contact normally occurs between guests and team members, as well as to separate arcade games.

SOCIAL DISTANCING
We ask all guests respect others by maintaining 6 feet apart from other groups. Markers and reminders will be visible to help.
Guest Responsibilities & Rules
An inherent risk of exposure to
COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. Although Fantasy
Island Amusement Park has taken enhanced health and safety measures for all of
our guests and team members; we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed to
COVID-19 while visiting.
Please do your part in keeping
yourself and others safe by following these guidelines:
HEALTH REMINDERS
We ask that any group with a member experiencing COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, chills, muscle pain, shortness of breath difficulty breathing, or sore throat stay at home and contact their medical provider.
TRANSACTIONS
All registers are equipped to accept contactless payment such as “apple pay” and we prefer you use these forms or credit card over cash.
MASKS
Guests over the age of 2 are required to wear a face covering that completely covers their nose and mouth at all times in all areas of the park.
PERSONAL ITEMS
Please reduce the amount of personal items brought into the park to reduce the need to store items while enjoying the rides.
ORDERING/RESERVATIONS
We recommend purchasing game cards online before you visit to limit the time in a queue line and reduce contact with cashiers. At this time, no reservations are required.
Sanitation & Cleaning
EQUIPMENT & PRODUCTS
Our maintenance team is equipped with new sanitation equipment that allows us to fully disinfect all surfaces every night in addition to our regular increased cleanings. The use of FDA approved virucide cleaner effective at killing SARS-COV-2 will be used to disinfect surfaces.
HAND SANITIZER & SOAP
All hand sanitizers will consist of at least 70% alcohol content as recommended by health officials. Hand soaps and cleaners will be antibacterial and be effective in killing 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.
RESTROOMS
Restrooms will have reduced capacities and frequently restocked and sanitized.
SCHEDULED CLEANING
All surfaces and areas have been added to a strict cleaning and sanitizing schedule to be carried out.
Employee Health & Guidelines
TRAINING
All Employees will undergo specific COVID-19 training to learn new policies, proper cleaning and sanitation procedures, and practices for personal health.
HEALTH SCREENING
Daily temperature checks and health screens will take place before each shift, any team members feeling sick will be sent home.
EQUIPMENT
All team members will be required to wear masks or be behind barriers while assisting guests.
SANITATION
All team members will be required to wash hands frequently and utilize gloves when necessary.

RIDES
CLEANING
Ride Surfaces will be sanitized frequently.
QUEUEING
Queue lines will be properly marked and a reservation system will be in place for popular attractions when needed.
CAPACITY
Rides will run at reduced
capacities where necessary
to allow for proper distancing.
CONTACT
Ride operators will limit their contact with riders, and we ask for parents to assist young children onto rides to help with this effort.

ARCADES & GAMES
CLEANING
Surfaces will be sanitized
frequently.
CAPACITY
Games and Arcade will operate at reduced capacities with proper social distancing between players.
GAME ITEMS
Games components will be sanitized frequently.
BARRIERS
Physical barriers have been added to certain games to protect players.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
PACKAGING
Self-service will be reduced and replaced with single use items.
SOUVENIRS CUPS
Souvenir cups will not be handled by team members, guests will be given disposable cups instead at the same price of a refill.
SEATING
Tables and chairs will be
separated by at least 6 feet to allow for social distancing while eating. All chairs and tables will be wiped down and sanitized regularly.
